"my name is lark hutson i was asked to wright a bit about my work, why i do it, what its made out of, messages im trying to send, sum it up in a paragraph they said. i don't really know why i make the things i make. i just do, its like breathing, iven if i didn't get paid i would most likely make things.. keeps the hands busy. I make most of my things from recyclables when you see a doll your looking at a sheet, t-shirt, old stuffed animal, even pants sometimes, all spliced together and given life. my paintings even are often done on recycled canvas, altough i do feel guilty my favorite medium is acrylic. i only ever wanted to make people happy, that was my life's goal. so far its going well. sometimes i like to shake things up a bit, challenge society's preset notions, no reason that things cant be different."
